Sr. Hardware Design Engineers (code: HDE/FCI/001): B.E/ B.Tech/ M.E/ M.Tech in ECE/ EE/Instrumentation/ Telecom, with 3-5 years relevant exp. Skills: Exp with microprocessors based designs • Knowledge of DRAM system design & architect • Knowledge of programmable logic Devices, languages and tools • familiarity with schematic capture tools-Viewlogic etc

Firmware Engineers - Powerboot/ IPMI/ BIOS (code: FEW/FCI/002): B.E/ B.Tech/M.E/ M.Tech in ECE/CS, preferably from IISc. /REC's, with 2+ years exp in firmware development. Skills: Design & development of boot loader/platform mgmt • Firmware for processor boards • Design & implementation of firmware for 16/32 bit processors using assembly language & C • Firmware development for X86/power PC/MIPS/ARM, BIOS/Redboot/Powerboot/eCOS device driver development • Proven track record in delivering software modules • proficiency with hardware interface bus architecture (PCI/12C/IDE/SCSI) is desired

Sr Software Engineers - Linux/VxWorks (code: SSE/FCI/003): B.E/ B.Tech/ M.E/ M.Tech in ECE/CS, with 3-8 years relevant exp. Skills: • proven track record in delivering software modules • Expertise in any of the following platforms - VxWorks, Linux, RTLinux, Embedded Linux, redboot, Board support package (BSP) development & device driver development • Proficiency with processor architecture & hardware interface bus architectures • Ability to work in cross-functional development environment and lead small teams • Exposure to test, validation process & standards, is a plus

Test Engineers (Hardware) & Qualification (code: THE/FCI/004): B.E/B.Tech in Electronics/Telecom, with 3+ years relevant exp. Skills: Exp in testing microprocessors based systems • Familiarity with usage of oscilloscope, logic state analyzer etc • Familiarity with C/assembly and ability to write test scripts, is a plus.

Test Engineers (Software) (code: TES/FCI/005) B.E/B.Tech in ECE/CSE with 3+ years relevant exp. Skills: • Hands-on exp in development of code in C & assembly running on VxWorks for embedded application • Familiarity with Real Time OS Concepts & VxWorks porting • Test suite development & software qualification for release, is an added advantage.
