13. Sociology - Professor-1, Reader-1: Research Associate-1: Ph.D degree as a desirable qualification. Ability to conduct independent research. A 1500 word length research proposal on a topic other than that of his/her Ph.D be enclosed with the application.

14. Urdu - Professor-1: Literary Criticism.

15. Health Centre - Medical Officer-3 (SC-1, ST-1, UR-1): MBBS Degree from a recognised university. 3 years experience after passing MBBS required. Candidates with post-graduate qualifictions or hospital experience will be preferred. For the post of Medical Officer (female): should preferably have one year's hospital experience in Obsetrics and Gynecology Ward.

Part -II

Applications are also invited for the followig posts which have been advertised in Advt. No. Estab. IV/176/2001 dated 1st November 2001. Persons who have applied earlier need not apply again. However, applications received earlier will be screened according to the revised essential qualifications.

2. History - Professor-1: Medieval Indian History.

3. Management Studies - Professor-4:
   Information Technology/ Production & Operations Management/ Marketing/ Strategic Management & International Business/ Managerial Economics/ Organizational Behavious & OD/Management Science/ Finance.

   Professor-1: Entrepreneurial Development (Tenure three years)

4. Mathematics - Professor-1: Algebra/ Differential Equations.
   Reader-1, Lecturer-2 (SC-1,UR-1)

Research Associates:

1. Rs. 8000/- (Fixed),
2. Rs. 8800/- (Fixed)
3. Rs. 10,500/- (Fixed)

All the above posts, except that of Research Associate, carry DA, CCA and HRA etc. as admissible under the rules in force in the University from time to time.

Application forms for the above posts and details regarding prescribed qualifications can be had from the Establishment Branch-IV (Room No. 205), New Administrative Block, University of Delhi, Delhi - 110007 during working days from 10:00 a.m to 12:30 p.m. & 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m either personally or by sending a self addressed envelope and stamped envelope (13 cms x 28 cm) worth Rs. 32/-.

Applications Fee:
Applications fee of Rs. 100/- (Rs.25/- in case of SC/ST) for all the posts (Non-refundable) in the form of Bank Draft/ Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of the Registrar, University of Delhi, payable at Delhi, is required to be submitted along with the application form. Candidates must write their name and post applied for on the backside of the Bank draft/ Indian Postal Order.

Notes:

1. It will be open to the University to consider names of suitable candidates who may not have applied
2. Number of posts is given within parenthesis against each post.
3. University reserves the right not to fill up any of the vacancies advertised if the circumstances so warrant.
4. Relaxation of any of the qualifications may be made in exceptional cases on the recommendations of the Selection Committee.
5. For Professor and Reader, other things being equal, preference will be given to SC/ST candidates.
6. Separate application is required for each post.
7. 3% posts of Lecturers are reserved for physically handicapped candidates
